The Impact of Local Green Spaces of Historically and Culturally Valuable Residential Areas on Place Attachment

Environmental qualities significantly affect the behaviors and place attachment of users, especially in residential areas. In addition to creating environmental comfort, local green spaces can increase users’ attachment, improve their mood, enhance friendly company facilitate social interactions. The study sought investigate impact historically culturally valuable fabric Hamadan City Iran on increasing residents’ attachment. Derived from literature subject, conceptual model shows such factors as social, functional, emotional spatial bonds context. A total number 410 residents old neighborhoods were selected by random sampling with a balanced proportion gender residence duration area. designed questionnaire was distributed among sample population collected data analyzed using structural equation modeling method.
